Our Location in Whitianga

Beachfront Resort is situated on Buffalo Beach Rd just a few minutes from Whitianga town center. Buses and a shuttle service run daily to and from Auckland or pick up a rental car from the Airport and drive on down. It takes just 2½ hrs to drive from Auckland.

While in the area visit Hot Water Beach, dig in the sand and relax in a hot spring. Cathedral Cove is a must.

Try your luck fishing or take a scenic boat trip around our majestic coastline.

Not far north are pristine beaches and little coves to explore, or take a short hike through the many trails, encounter the mighty Kauri tree, a native to this area. The area also boasts four golf courses, two of international standard.

The Coromandel Peninsula is renowned for its art & craft, and increasingly also for its delicious local produce. Follow the Home Grown trail, - sample oysters, mussels, macadamias, wines cheeses, organic produce and more.... and take a unique piece of NZ home with you!
